How it all started
Like most great things, the FLT started over beers. With years of experience supporting and studying leaders globally, we noticed that Finland by all accounts is a pretty successful country that has also produced some exceptional companies and world-renowned experts. Which begs the question, how did this happen? who lead the change? what did they get right? why is no-one talking about it? Luckily, we realized that we knew enough people to start to answer those questions.
Our story
Our vision is to explore and understand Finnish leadership, to walk through the shared experiences and practices that has enabled this small country to grow and prosper over the recent decades. We do this through dialogue, we try to avoid the egocentric, step back and look at the system, the incentives, the emotions, the conditions that enable Finnish leadership. Through these dialogues we hope to provide a form of pragmatic inspiration, providing tools and guidance to those looking to thrive in Finland or take the lessons of Finnish leadership further afield.
